THE RUSSIAN NAVY 

 (Russian: Военно-морской флот [ВМФ], romanized: Voyenno-morskoi flot [VMF], lit. '"Military Maritime Fleet"') is the naval arm of the Russian Armed Forces. It has existed in various forms since 1696, the present iteration of which was formed in January 1992 when it succeeded the Navy of the Commonwealth of Independent States (which had itself succeeded the Soviet Navy following the dissolution of the Soviet Union in late December 1991).

Boatswain's knife The Botsmansky knife, manufactured by the SARO company, can be used as a tactical folding knife, as well as an auxiliary marine knife, for sailors and navigators. The boatswain knife includes two objects made of 65x13 steel with a hardness of 54-56 HRC: the main classic blade and the stack (punch tool). The main blade has a "kick foot" appearance and is designed to create a clear, controlled incision. The emphasis under the thumb located at the root of the butt helps improve the cutting properties of the knife when working with ropes, cables and nets. The battery is located on the back of the handle and is designed to disconnect threads from ropes or cables (so-called "punches"), as well as to make holes. The handle is made of steel with wood coatings, and the small stopper on the handle allows you to make working with the "Boatswain" knife safer. The upper part has a ring to connect the cord. It also allows a knife to be carried in the belt sheath. The bosun's blade length is 260mm in working form and 145mm when folded, and the main blade is 115mm long and 3.8mm wide.
